How to Achieve World Peace: Make Every Day a Friday

Honestly, I love Fridays. They’re just really fun. School's out for the weekend, even though some teachers try to trick you into thinking it’s not by increasing the homework.

My sister has this Inside Out shirt with a picture of Joy under the caption of Friday and Sadness printed under Monday. I hate to say I relate to it…but I mean, it kinda sums life up.

The only reason I get the shirt is because she watches Inside Out basically every day. I’m trying to play Smash Bros and there she is with the remote switching the setting to DVD and starting the movie again. Pretty sure I didn't get control of the remote when I was that age.

The worst thing is that she always gets to because apparently Inside Out is more educational and emotionally mature than Smash Bros, which, by the way, teaches strategy and reaction time. Also, a kid ran away in that movie, so...

It’s weird how that movie messes with my mind though. Like apparently there’s a kid named Joy in my Algebra class who I’ve never noticed before cause she’s insanely quiet and the only reason I noticed her now was because of her name!

Wow, that makes me sound like a jerk and now I'm kinda wondering if she's like a super awesome person that I might be oblivious to. I guess I'll start up a conversation on Monday.

Anyways, besides a whole weekend of no school, Fridays are cool because all the best football games happen on Friday night. Everyone has pent up energy from sitting around in classes all day.

I don’t actually play football, other than random games with friends. But it's fine because I don't really love playing the sport, I just love watching it and being in the stands. It's weird, I know, but when you grab the right seats, you'll always be sitting with really funny, awesome people who automatically love the same thing as you. The amount of energy is an adrenaline rush.

Also soccer moms at football fields are hilarious.

And I can say this, cause my Mom is a total soccer mom for football. Which is hilarious because I don't even play. She just really loves the game, I guess.

While I don't play, my buddy Scott does and dude he’s incredible. He also does this Youtube channel on the side, so compared to me he’s basically rich. Scott’s probably gonna score a scholarship when a scout comes to a game one day. He’s the captain and it’s cool because he plays pranks on everyone and doesn’t freak out if someone fumbles by accident or messes up.

There’s this thing we do where he plans a prank and I try to guess what it’ll be before every game. Right now, I’m solidly in the lead by one point and the loser has to buy ice cream for the team at the end of the season.

Scott films a lot of the pranks for his channel, so it’s a really big thing. Last week’s game he turned the Gatorade partially into Jell-O, making everyone drink water the whole game or get weird lumps of half gelatin Gatorade. He’s lucky he bought chips to make up for it because Phil was about to tackle Scott.

Well, I’ll let you guys know what he does this week. My guess that’ll be on Stewart this time and involve balloons. Everyone is going to see It in a couple of days and Stewart is absolutely terrified, but he tries to fake that he's not. It's so obvious, so it’s been a running joke recently.

Game’s about to start!

Later,

Alex
